Fishburn enthusiasts build Spitfire from scratch

A dedicated group of air enthusiasts in County Durham have built a replica World War Two Spitfire plane from scratch.

The project is a tribute to a pilot who survived the Battle of Britain, but died just a day after the end of the war.

The hobbyists have spent the last 10 years working on the aircraft in a hangar in Fishburn.

Jonathan Swingler reports.
