Bowes Museum hosts first UK Yves Saint Laurent exhibition
The first major UK exhibition of the work of French designer Yves Saint Laurent is going on display at the Bowes Museum in County Durham.
Style is Eternal exhibits key items from his 50-year career which revolutionised womenswear - including the female tuxedo and trouser suit.
Other items featured include dresses Cascade, Labia and Zephirine from the late 1950s which have never been seen in public before.
The exhibition runs from 11 July to 25 October.
