Card appeal for Stockton D-Day veteran's 100th birthday

The favourite bar of a World War Two veteran is appealing for people to send birthday cards to help celebrate his 100th birthday.

Tommy Trotter turns 100 on 10 February, but because of lockdown restrictions the planned party cannot go ahead.

The Don Memorial Bar in Stockton is asking well-wishers to send Tommy cards and in two weeks, hundreds have arrived from all over the world - including Africa, China and New Zealand.
