Darlington theatre group helping to change lives
Members of a theatre group for adults with learning disabilities say the organisation has changed their lives.
STAGE Darlington CIC runs activities intended to "build confidence and self-esteem, and promote a sense of self-worth".
The group recently worked on a production entitled The Pirates of Salt Bay - a swashbuckling mix of theatre and film which premiered at a local cinema.
One cast member, 49-year-old Barrie Foster, said seeing himself on the big screen made him "proud".
