Richard Benyon visits flood-hit Morpeth

One of the places worst affected by the recent flooding was Morpeth in Northumberland.

Residents are angry that defences, approved after flooding four years ago, have not yet been built.

The floods minister Richard Benyon said the government was serious about preventative measures.

But, on a visit to Morpeth, he said installing them was a complicated job which could not be rushed.
