County Durham man wins £1m on Lottery scratchcard

A barman from County Durham says he will carry on pulling pints despite scooping £1m on a Lottery scratchcard.

Lewis Rider, 22, from Sacriston, bought the ticket with spare change he had after buying a tin of food for his dog Marley.

He got his mum Clair to check the ticket "50,000 times" as he could not believe he had won.

Ms Rider said the win had not "sunk in properly yet" and the family was "still on cloud nine".
