Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in Newcastle for Greggs charity partnership

X-Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini came home to Tyneside to promote a new charity project in partnership with bakery chain Greggs.

The Newcastle-born singer has her own charity, Cheryl's Trust, which supports disadvantaged young people in the north-east of England.

Greggs has agreed to donate 5p to her charity for every purchase of its new limited edition Belgian Chocolate Crunch Bar and the star thrilled autograph hunters at a Greggs outlet in Eldon Square as she launched the project.
