Ceremonial flight for RAF Sea King in Northumberland

Sea King helicopters have carried-out thousands of life-saving searches and rescues across the North East of England over the last 50 years.

But on 30 September, responsibility for UK Search and Rescue transfers to the Department of Transport and the Sea Kings will fly no more.

A crew from 'A' Flight 202 have been putting on a last ceremonial flight in the Sea King with Squadron Leader Iain Macfarlane at the controls.
