Newcastle man's 'Geordie Haka' video goes viral

A Geordie version of the New Zealand rugby team's famous Haka has become an internet sensation.

George Taylor created a tongue-in-cheek version of the All Blacks' tribal war dance, complete with new lyrics inspired by the North East.

Although Maori leaders have described other imitations of the Haka as disrespectful, Mr Taylor insists the video is not intended to offend.

With the team soon to play at Newcastle United's St James' Park in the Rugby World Cup, George's "Geordie Haka", filmed by the BBC at the Monkton Stadium in Jarrow, has already been seen by nearly two million people.
