Durham man lands role as Doctor Who monster

A 7ft 6ins Durham man has landed a role as the new monster in the hit BBC series Doctor Who.

Neil Fingleton, 35, who has previously played basketball, is now terrorising the Doctor as the giant monster Fisher King.

Such is his height, Neil has had to specially adapt his home in Durham to prevent accidents, but he said he has loved playing this latest role.
