Bradley Lowery named Child of Courage at award ceremony

Bradley Lowery has been named Child of Courage at the Pride of North East Awards.

The six-year-old from County Durham, who has terminal cancer, was joined by his hero, Sunderland footballer Jermain Defoe.

The striker said: "As a person he has changed me because of what he's going through at such a young age."
