Tyne Bridge delays: Who can cross the river the quickest?
After lane closures came into force on the Tyne Bridge, many of us have been sat in traffic wondering if there was a faster way to cross between Newcastle and Gateshead.
So we decided to find out during rush hour.
Five BBC Newcastle reporters made their journey from The Swan pub in Heworth to the BBC in Barrack Road, Newcastle, to see who could beat the bridge the quickest.
They travelled in cars, by bicycle, on foot and using public transport.
Capacity has been reduced to one lane in both directions across the bridge as part of major repair work, which is set to last four years.
