David Hempleman Adams returns from South Pole expedition
Wiltshire explorer David Hempleman Adams has recently returned from a 'Walking with the Wounded' expedition to the South Pole.
He was joined by Capt Adam Crookshank, a former serviceman from Devizes, who was one of three wounded soldiers taking part in the expedition.
The aim was to retrace the steps of Captain Scott and his men 100 years ago.
The team walked 140 miles (225km) to the South Pole pulling their own sleds in sub zero temperatures to raise money for other injured soldiers.
