Stonehenge visitor centre numbers top 500,000
More than half a million people have been through the doors of the new visitor centre at Stonehenge since it opened six months ago.
The land train which was supposed to ferry visitors from the centre to the stones has been replaced by buses which can carry many more people.
Now English Heritage is preparing for the summer solstice on Saturday and potentially many thousands of visitors coming to the monument.
