Replica Iron Age canoes launched on Avalon Marshes
Two replica Iron Age canoes built as part of an archaeological experiment have been tested for the first time.
The recreated paddled boats were based on an original version unearthed on the Avalon Marshes near Shapwick, Somerset.
The building project is part of wider efforts to improve the habitat and preserve the archaeological features of the landscape.
Points West reporter Clinton Rogers went to watch history in action.
