Becky Godden killing: Accused's interview shown to jury

A jury has been shown segments of police interviews with the suspect in the murder of a Swindon woman who disappeared 13 years ago.

Becky Godden was working as a prostitute when she vanished in January 2003.

Christopher Halliwell was interviewed on suspicion of her murder, whilst already serving a life sentence for killing Sian O’Callaghan in the town in 2011.

The jury at Bristol Crown Court was shown the footage on the sixth day of the trial.
