Christopher Halliwell sentence: 'I chose not to pick a side'

A woman who knew Christopher Halliwell's ex-wife and Becky Godden's mother says she felt guilty for being friends with both of them.

Halliwell, a former taxi driver from Swindon, has been sentenced to a whole life order for killing Becky Godden. He is already serving a minimum of 25 years for the 2011 murder of Sian O'Callaghan.

Justice for Becky campaigner Sandy Jonsson said she was friends with Karen Godden as well as Halliwell's ex-wife, Lisa, and had to choose not to pick sides.
