Woman seeks mum's killers for answers

A woman wants to meet the people who murdered her mother to ask them why they did it.

Sheila Taylor, from Wiltshire, was killed in London in 1989 by Michael Doherty and his partner Susan McGregor.

They were all living in a squat at the time, and smothered her in order to claim her pension using her benefits book, then buried her body.

Three years after she died, police exhumed her body and discovered she had been murdered.

Until then, her family believed their mother, who had been an alcoholic and had left the family home to live in London, had died of natural causes.

Sue Newell called BBC Wiltshire after hearing about a restorative justice conference in Trowbridge.
