West Yorkshire sand sculpture to mark WW1 centenary

A sand sculpture of a grieving widow has been created in Hebden Bridge to mark the centenary of World War One.

The artist Jamie Wardley said he wanted to create a piece of art that showed the emotional impact of the war.

The artwork is on display at the town hall and will be "aged" by the sculptor over a three month period.
