Yorkshire meerkats used for therapy in care homes

Two meerkats are being used for therapy sessions in homes which care for people with learning disabilities.

The females, Mia and Kat, are owned by Joe Hodgson, from North Yorkshire.

Mr Hodgson said the therapy sessions, which involve watching the two meerkats play and interact with each other, were proving very popular.
