Harry Gration's son to run Yorkshire marathon in his memory

The son of the late TV presenter Harry Gration is preparing to run the Yorkshire Marathon in his memory.

Harvey Gration is raising money for Myeloma UK, a type of blood cancer his dad had in the later years of his life.

The former presenter of BBC Yorkshire's Look North news programme died aged 71 in June 2022.

When he retired in October 2020, he said his stand-out memory was raising more than £800,000 for charity through various sponsored challenges.

These included a tandem ride with fellow presenter Amy Garcia, pushing a sofa across Yorkshire and being tied to Look North colleague Paul Hudson.
