Harry Gregg recalls Munich air crash
Former Northern Ireland and Manchester United goalkeeper Harry Gregg will be honoured at a testimonial match in Belfast on Tuesday.
Gregg survived the 1958 Munich air disaster and stayed with the burning plane to help passengers to safety.
Twenty three people were killed, including 8 players, when a plane chartered by Manchester United crashed as it was taking off.
Harry managed to rescue a number of people, including a mother and baby, from the blazing wreckage.
In 1998, Harry took part in a BBC Radio Ulster programme marking the 40th anniversary of the Munich disaster.
In this excerpt from that interview he describes the moments after the plane crashed and how he managed to struggle out.
