John O'Dowd: "We have a robust exam system"

The Northern Ireland education minister has said that Northern Ireland has a "robust education and examination system".

John O'Dowd was speaking as the Secretary of State for Education, Michael Gove, said it was time England, Wales and Northern Ireland went separate ways on GCSEs and A-levels.

Mr O'Dowd was confident that students would have their examination results recognised around the world, gained from a good education system.
