Royal Victoria Hospital: Porter says nurses 'crying' in A&E

A worker at Northern Ireland's biggest hospital has called the situation in accident and emergency 'embarrassing' as he sees nurses crying as they struggle to provide a service.

Pat Neeson, a porter at Royal Victoria Hospital and a union health and safety officer, said that it was not enough for the trust to bring in more staff.

He also criticised the new A&E department, which is yet to open, saying it was "not big enough to take the volume of patients".
