Hyde Park Bomb: Victim's brother says justice has been 'thwarted'

The brother of a soldier who was killed when an IRA Bomb exploded in Hyde Park has said that "justice has been thwarted".

Christopher Daly, brother of Lt Anthony Daly, said he believes the responsibility for the lack of due process "lies with the PSNI".

On Wednesday, a man accused of killing four soldiers in the 1982 IRA Hyde Park bombing was told he would not be prosecuted because he was given a guarantee he would not face trial.

It follows a judge's ruling that an official assurance given in error meant John Downey could not be prosecuted.
