Martin McGuinness to attend banquet with Queen when President Higgins visits UK

Northern Ireland's deputy first minister has said that accepting the Queen's invitation to a state dinner was "an important thing to do".

Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness will attend the banquet at Windsor Castle, hosted by the Queen on Tuesday as part of a state visit to Britain by Irish President Michael D Higgins.
