Victims tell of Historical Abuse Inquiry experiences

The Historical Institutional Abuse Inquiry (HIA) began in January and, so far, almost 70 people have given evidence.

Thirty-four of those were children who lived in homes.

Speaking to BBC Newsline's Tara Mills, some of those who gave evidence say they were unhappy that key information about their lives was not shared with them before they took the stand.

They were also critical of a lack of counselling offered to help them deal with the trauma.
