Health Minister Jim Wells will not abandon religious beliefs
The newly appointed health minister has told the BBC that he will not abandon his religious principles when he is forming policies on contentious issues such as abortion and alcohol.
Jim Wells said his mind is not made up on what should happen with the future of children's heart surgery in Northern Ireland.
Speaking to BBC News NI's Health Correspondent Marie-Louise Connolly, he said that hospitals in his own constituency will not escape potential cuts.
