Northern Ireland Health Minister Jim Wells outlines Ebola response plans

Northern Ireland Health Minister Jim Wells has outlined plans for dealing with a suspected or positive case of Ebola being detected in Northern Ireland.

Responding to an urgent oral question in the assembly on Ebola, he said patients from Northern Ireland who test positive for the virus will be sent to the Royal Free Hospital in London for treatment.

Mr Wells was speaking after a patient who was suspected of having Ebola tested negative for the virus at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
