HGV: Warning over shortage of lorry drivers in NI

Hauliers are warning that a shortage of lorry drivers is having an effect on both retailers and consumers in Northern Ireland.

They say the shortfall is down to a number of reasons.

These include older drivers not coming back to work after the pandemic, younger drivers still waiting to take HGV tests and European drivers staying at home after Brexit.
