Hospice lets kids 'lead a bit of a normal life'
The mother of 13-year-old Mia Warren, who uses NI Children's Hospice respite services, has said the service is "vital" amid budget pressures.
On Tuesday, the hospice said it will have to reduce bed capacity.
In response, the Department of Health has said it will "look urgently" at the plans and develop its approach by the end of this week.
Speaking to BBC News NI, Lisa Warren said: "You feel safe leaving the here and you can go and enjoy a wee bit of your life knowing they are fine and well looked after."
