Minister Alan Duncan: overseas aid is 'properly spent'

Alan Duncan, Minister of State in the Department for International Development, said UK money for overseas aid is 'properly spent' as some people question whether money should be sent abroad while there are cuts at home.

He was also questioned about what checks are made on British taxpayers' money when it is sent to foreign governments.
