Ed Miliband: Defence Spending Review 'hastily prepared'
Ed Miliband has called the Prime Minister's announcement of the Defence Spending Review a "profound missed opportunity".
Unveiling the strategic defence review, David Cameron said defence spending would fall by 8% over four years.
The RAF and Navy will lose 5,000 jobs each, the Army 7,000 and the Ministry of Defence 25,000 civilian staff.
The Labour leader also went on to accuse David Cameron of presenting a plan which had been "chaotically conducted" and "hastily prepared".
