How will the UK defend itself after forces cuts?

Prime Minister David Cameron has announced an 8% cut in defence spending with the army, navy and air force losing military hardware and thousands of personnel.

Harrier jump jets, the Navy's flagship HMS Ark Royal and planned Nimrod spy planes are to be axed and 42,000 MoD and forces job will be cut by 2015.

The BBC's defence correspondent Caroline Wyatt reports on how the UK will defend itself after the cuts.
