Spending Review slashes £7 bn from welfare budget
Many of the big savings outlined by the chancellor in the Spending Review come from the changes to the welfare system with £7bn in welfare cuts.
It includes reforms to job seekers' allowance, housing benefits and child care benefits.
George Osborne insisted that his measures were "tough but fair" and that his goal had been to ensure that it would always "pay to work."
The BBC's Tom Symonds has been gauging reaction.
