Lord Steel: Abortion Act a 'fundamental change'
The Abortion bill was debated and passed into law in 1967 after being introduced by a then-unknown backbench MP David Steel.
He tells Giles Dilnot how he had no idea how big an impact on society the bill would have when he proposed it more than 40 years ago.
