Students and university vice-Chancellor on tuition fees

The lecturers' union UCU warned a third of universities are 'at risk', with the worst-hit facing mergers or even closures.

Giles Dilnot spoke to those studying, and Prof Geofffrey-Petts, vice-Chancellor University of Westminster, for their views on the fallout on funding if the tuition rise goes through affecting students in England.

One students claims an under-graduate could face £30,000 in fees and have no guarantee of a job.
