Sir John Chilcot 'disappointed' at Iraq notes secrecy

Britain's most senior civil servant has prevented the Iraq inquiry from publishing notes sent by Tony Blair to George Bush in the months leading to the Iraq war.

Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O'Donnell is said to believe that publication would damage international relations.

But the inquiry chairman, Sir John Chilcot, has made his dissatisfaction clear.
