Dogs, cats and rats at No 10 Downing Street
Downing Street has a new resident - a rat.
The rodent has been seen on TV news reports - including one with the BBC's Gary O'Donoghue.
The prime minister's official spokesman said there is a "pro-cat faction" in Downing Street, and staff are considering what to do about the problem.
Battersea Cats and Dogs' home has put forward a cat named Crocket to do the job.
MPs are divided on which predator should help out - with dog-lover Therese Coffey and cat-fan Keith Simpson making a case from Central Lobby, before Ken Clarke and Margaret Hodge offer their views.
