William Hague: Safety of Britons in Libya a 'paramount concern'
Foreign Secretary William Hague is organising an evacuation of Britons from Libya, after Col Muammar Gaddafi said he would not quit in the face of mass protests.
Mr Hague said the government was working with airlines to lay on flights in order to escape Libya's ''fluid and dangerous situation''.
He added ''the safety of British nationals is of paramount concern''.
