Quentin Willson on rising petrol price and fuel duty increase

Motoring journalist Quentin Willson is handing in a petition of 130,000 names to Downing Street from the Fair Fuel campaign, calling on the government to stop the next fuel duty increase due in April.

He said 80 MPs back the campaign and there is the "armageddon prospect" of a £7 gallon cost of petrol.

Transport secretary Philip Hammond and former Chancellor Alistair Darling give their view on rising prices, and also raising the speed limit on motorways.
