Census 'intrusive' says campaigner Heather Brooke
Freedom of information campaigner Heather Brooke claims the census is an unnecessary intrusion by the state into our private life, is costing too much money and will be out of date before it is published.
The government argues the survey - which should be filled out on Sunday - is needed to provide valuable information to help them plan for the future and work out where best to spend taxpayers money.
