Clegg advisor Norman Lamb could quit over NHS changes
Lib Dem MP Norman Lamb signalled a threat to quit as he said the coalition health plans could be a major "financial risk" to the NHS and patient care.
He told BBC1's Politics Show he would step down as Mr Clegg's chief political adviser unless NHS professionals were "on board", although he said "change not optional".
The plans would see GPs given more control over budgets, the service opened up to more competition and the end of primary care trusts (PCTs).
