Hague: 'It's a good morning for Tories'
The Foreign Secretary, William Hague, has insisted the two parties in the coalition government would continue working well together, despite tensions over the alternative vote referendum.
The former Liberal Democrat leader, Lord Ashdown, has made a scathing attack on David Cameron's conduct during the referendum campaign.
In newspaper interviews, he has accused him of failing to dissociate himself from what he called a "regiment of lies" put out by the No to AV campaign, including personal attacks on the Lib Dem leader, Nick Clegg.
Mr Hague said it was a good morning for the Conservative Party.
