Andy Burnham urges 'common sense talks' in pensions row

Andy Burnham has said that "common sense" talks are needed in the ongoing dispute over reforms to public service pensions.

Speaking to BBC One's Politics Show, the shadow education minister also attacked the conduct of the government in relation to the row, accusing Downing Street of incompetence and arrogance.

"We're talking about people's pensions. You can't play politics", he added.
