Women voters helped Conservatives win general elections
Women voters have proved to be a secret weapon for the Conservatives - as more of them voted for the party than men over the last few decades.
Giles Dilnot explained the figures before pollster Peter Kellner from YouGov and Conservative MP Harriet Baldwin discussed why women have been more likely to vote Tory. They also talked about the possible impact of changes to child benefit and raising the pension age on voting patterns.
