Andrew Lansley denies Labour's NHS funding claims

Health Secretary Andrew Lansley has rebuffed Labour's claims that NHS spending in England is being moved away from poorer areas.

He told the BBC the government was "increasing the budget for the health service in England, and... increasing it in each part of the country".

He added that claims by Labour's shadow health secretary Diane Abbott that health inequalities were being exacerbated were misleading.
