UKIP leader Nigel Farage on EU referendum and Conservatives

UKIP leader Nigel Farage said the Conservative leadership was "more committed" to Europe than ever before despite some backbench MPs calling for a referendum on the UK leaving the EU.

As the party held its conference in Eastbourne, Mr Farage told Jo Coburn the party had risen from less than 1% to 7% in the opinion polls, and added: "We are making very, very good solid progress".

He was also asked about the role of former Conservative MP Neil Hamilton - who is standing for election to the party's executive committee.
