Liam Fox allegations 'very serious indeed' - Harman

Allegations over Liam Fox's relationship with close friend Adam Werritty, raise "very serious questions" according to Labour's deputy leader Harriet Harman.

The defence secretary is facing a Ministry of Defence inquiry into his working relationship with Mr Werritty, and the preliminary findings are to be examined by the prime minister on Monday.

Ms Harman said that the issues raised concerns over Mr Fox's integrity and called for an immediate statement to the House of Commons.
