Eric Pickles: Nobody is forced to pray at council meetings

The government says it will restore powers that allow councils in England to hold prayers as part of their meetings.

Last week, the High Court ruled the practice at a council in Devon was unlawful.

But Communities Secretary Eric Pickles says he is using the government's new Localism Act to reverse the judgement.

He spoke to the BBC's Tim Wilcox from Brentwood, Essex.
